Almond oil is used primarily in aesthetic aromatherapy and healing cosmetics. It is obtained by pressing the nuts of both varieties of ordinary almonds, and then refined.

Internally taken (a few drops to a teaspoon, three times a day, 20 minutes before eating) has a calming effect on some stomach disorders.
